Hi Umut,

No no. I didn't mean using photopolymer in place of the wax. I mean using
photopolymer in place of the gelatin, and then you can still make your final
thing in wax. Photopolymer is used to make rubber stamp, so you can imagine
it can easily achieve the thickness that you want whereas gelatin, I doubt
if you can get it to 5mm (that is .5 cm!) as you mentioned.

As for the particular brand, let me search around and let you know. I
haven't used it myself, but I do know a brand that is commonly used in
rubber stamp making and also photogravure. Are you in the US?

If you are googling around, search for "photopolymer for rubber stamps"
"photopolymer for photogravure."

Dave

Contact Print with Wax Relief

Dave,

Thank you. My heart goes to wax but your suggestion is excellent and I had
been posted to APUG this morning. Which photopolymers could be purchased ?
And Where from ? Is it silk screening polymer ? I dont know any brand and
product. Please shed some light.

Thank you ,
Umut
