I may have sent this message before, so forgive me if I have. The only
successful late 20th Century Woodburytypes I have seen were by a
photogravurist working in Utrecht (sp?) in Holland. His name is Johan de
Zoet. They were quite successful to some degree but after decades of research
and testing, he still was not as successful as the 19th Century examples
he had with him. He admitted that this was one of the most difficult
processes he had ever come across. I seem to remember him mentioning the
planned publication of a working manual for modern printers... but I'll
have to check my notes. If I can find his address, I'll post it later in
the week.
