This list is fantastic; it wonderful to find out that so many people are
working in gum.
I have two questions:
1) What's Gloy and where does one go to get it (perhaps to the gloy store)?

Hi Larry,

I agree about the list. When I taught at ISU in the middle eighties I could not
find any gloy and had to use local gum Arabic stiffened with albumin .Gloy is
a stationary gum that contains PVA and other additives, which gives stronger
adhesion than the normal gum Arabic. The manufacturer is Henkel adhesives
and their address is:- Henkel Ltd
Henkel house
Southbury road

Hope this helps pete
