Seeing the note from Galine reminded me> I did use the xeroxes for
acrylic transfer and got much better results than with the recommended clay
coated magazine images. Once coated & dried overnight, I let them soak for about
20 minutes (so that the acrylic turns milky) before peeling off the back layer.

Also, I did have success with color as well as B&W Xerox transfer using
Wintergreen Oil and Clove Oil. The turpentine and polish remover would not
transfer the Color no matter how hard I burnished, but the clove and especially
Wintergreen did and interesting job. I don't have my notes at work, but I think
it was the Wintergreen that really transfered the color well except for Black,
it wouldn't transfer black at all, which gave the image a strange lovely effect,
sort of Sabbatier in feeling. If you want further info, email me directly.
