Damn, i didn't know. I wear my anorak for biking and mountaineering.
Wore it on my free solo of the Spiri Diretissima Variation of the
Chouinard route on Mount Faye (Canadian Rockies). Ifn i had the scratch
i'd have a gore-tex cagoule. Useful as one tromps in crampons over the
nieves penitentes towards the cwm at the base of the bergshrund below
the arete. In one hand, some gorp, in the other, a piolet, a coil of
kernmantle over the shoulder. I espy a pika, or cony, on a nunatak near
the moraine. In my pack: Carabiners (mousquetons), jumars, hexcentrics,
bashies, mashies, bugaboos, rurps, pitons, etriers, snargs,
alpengleiters ...

__THIS IS THE NET POLICE! put the coffee down and come out with your
hands up!

Now i know why my anorak has a built-in plastic pocket protector
