This has also been my experience. I also pre-shrink the paper in very hot
water. Although I have found that it is not neccessary to keep the water
hot. I will shrink 1 sheet at a time in a tray of water about 3 inches deep.
It is also my experience that it is not the heat drying that will cause the
paper to shrink but the thoroughness of the drying. Of course heating the
paper is one of the most thorough ways of drying it.
