I have been a fan of the commercial Diafine made in Chicago, but have been
unable to get it here in Western Australia. Of the several formulae for
homemade diafine (all very similar) I have made up two batches with poor
results. With a variety of films, both batches produced grossly
under-developed negs without pushing the film.

I have been meticulous in my measurements with accurate equipment (0.2g
phenol???)
Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

BTW I find diafine good for students who forget the times etc, but not very
creative because of the very consistent results.
