Peter,

I don't known if it is the same formula as the one published in the UK or
not but this one uses Ferric Ammonium Oxalate rather than Ferric Ammonium
Citrate. Your remarks are interesting. It does say in the article that
the "new" process is faster than the old. It also says that the prints
have a greater Dmax. I personally use a cyanotype formula which contains
small amounts of Oxalic Acid and Ammonium Dichromate. I noticed that
the "new" formula also contains a small amount of Ammonium Dichromate.
Judy says she has tried the Oxalic Acid formula and can see no difference
between it and the simpler formula, but I believe the one I use gives me
less bleeding and whiter whites. Anyway, I'm going to try the new process
just so I can see for myself if there is any improvement. Certainly mixing
the sensitizer is a lot more involved.

Best wishes for the holliday,
Bob Schramm
