The point of humidification is that if palladium is not humidified it
prints brown.

For Pd to print black the paper has to be humidified (not for Pt).

I remember once when I was supposed to be running a gum workshop in the
first half of a week amd Mike ware a Pt/Pd workshop at the end of the week,
I stopped around for Mike's workshop on Pt/Pd printing.

We had to place our Pd prints to humidify over trays of water. All the
prints printed beautifully black. Then I discovered that my tray had no
water in it. But then here it is rare for the humidity to fall below 60 %
anyway. And 60 % wll print black.
