When I first bought those special BL bulbs I had to special order them
and they cost about $8 each. Then I put the College purchasing agent
on the problem and he was able to buy them via a state contract for
about $2.50 each. Also right now True Value Hardware has a special
on under cabinet light fixtures that will accept the 18" bulb for
around $6.50 ea. Six fixtures and six bulbs makes a usable light source
for up to 11 x 14. Cost about $55. So with a little shopping around.....
