The brown/blue palladium/platinum split occurred during a series of tests
to see how far it was possible to use sizing techniques to establish the
speed and contrast ranges pf pt/pd paper.
The effect appears to be consistent but I have not enough enough
experience of it yet to say whether it might not lead to people asking for
their money back !
