Re: Liquid Light and Rice Papers

Patrick and all,

The reason I want to do this is primarily because I want to work my images
onto 3 dimensional surfaces. I want to experiment with texture and shape,
and to push my own notions of what I'm creatively capable of achieving. The
theme of this project I have in mind is designed to work in 3d.

I was originally going to project directly onto my 3d forms (they will
probably have a plaster base), but don't want to deal with focus issues -
and actually want to integrate the texture which adhering paper onto 3d will
provide.

So, liquid light is projectable ( I won't go near cyan or VDB on such thin
papers - for a show i had a couple years ago, I did 500 4x6 cyano's onto
greystone letterpaper - needless to say, they were fragile when wet, I
wasn't safe and stained my hands Jeffrey.D.Mathias@worldnet.att.net (PLEASE, no lectures, I know, I know!), and
spent 2 days recovering from the congestion and headache's chemistry's gave
me)), I believe it carries a neutral tone, tho I;ll probably try the
selenium toner suggestion offered the other day, and it saves me a variety
of steps which I prefer to save at this time.

Patrick, I've been hung up for a year, I know!
Hope that answers the query.
Risa
