My probably quite unfounded suspicion is that Scala is repackaged Dia
Direct which worked beautifully at ASA 32 !

All my Scala was processed by Joe's Basement and, whether at the rated
speed or pulled, none of it showed a green cast.

As to chemistry the only clue I can offer is that Dia Direct was processed
at the same address in Wimbledon as Agfa's transparency films. 101522.2625@compuserve.com (Kodachrome
is processed there now. )

I have found that for my purposes it is better to make a contact onto FP4
from standard negative stock as I get more control over contrast.
