I don't understand the problem regarding mail software. I'd assume most
of us have either a Mac or PC. there are tones of free e-mail software
that can route messages from alt-photo-process-l to a special folder.
Some are very barebones and wouldn't require much in ram or disk space. I
use a Powermac 8500 w/ Claris E-mailer 1.1. It's free to download from
thier site. I know from the preferences that it will send and receive
from AOL, Compuserve & the regular POP internet. I would asume if your
using some type of Unix box even more free software would be available.

I'd guess the transfer time to download individual messages or the Digest
is about the same. Personally I don't like the digest. You have to scroll
through the thing to find something of interest. With individual messages
I can delete dozens of messages based only on the subject. A big time
savings.
