<x-rich>Just to clear up any confusion, It was called Cranes Parchmont, with an "O" way back when. Since we are still stuck in the 19th Century, we've found no reason to change. Paper companies diddle with their marketing strategies all the time, but we don't. They also hire new chemists to diddle with their paper formulas, we wish they wouldn't. In my opinion, if one is diligent enough, any good paper can be used to make good prints, it's the diddling that that makes life miserable for the platinum printer. You work for ever to get it right and, and them some wet-behind-the-ears chemist messes everything up. I was going to use another word instead of "messes", but this is a family affair here. Cranes has been very consitent over the years, however. Not that things haven't changed, but not as radical as some other companies like Rising, for instance. Their AS8111 has been pretty much the same over the years. And for those concerned about the watermark, they make a version that has wat
ermark of the Seal of the President of the United States embedded in it. Now that would make some classy prints! Sorry we can't get any for sale.
