I have been a"reader" (a term I prefer to lurker) of the list since last september.
Having been involved in alternative processes intensely in the past and unable
to print right now, the list has been a kind of vicarious darkroom for me and i too
miss the energetic and dynamic voice it has been. i have been receiving far less
mail since Judy has taken her leave and I don't believe it is the server. nothing
has changed there. It is for me a dead list without Judy and I want to apologize
to her for not publically supporting her in her "trails with terry." If one reviews
the list, judy's posts are always challenging, interesting, asking questions,
pushing the edge. She has not been posting to prove anything. She has
generously shared an amazing amount of knowledge and experience and done it in
a witty, intelligent and very readable manner. She is simply in love with and
fascinated by alt processes. It was her energy and inspiration that has been
driving the list and if any one else does not think a certain kind of death has
occurred since she left, then they are fooling themselves. I can understand, why
in complete frustration, she has signed off and I can not expect her to return
especially when very few of her colleagues came forward to support her. It is
appalling that no one has come forward to thank her for her participation. I
think this list is more than the few who have done most of the posting--the rest
of us "readers" are the audience/classroom who are here listening, learning and
loving it though we may not be able to participate fully. I am sorry that I have
not spoken earlier. Let Judy speak! Let Terry leave her alone! Let the list live
on. Please return Judy. Without you the list is dead. janet neuhauser
