thanks for correcting me. I must apologize for forgetting to mention your
products. But, as far as I know the sensitizing you use requires screened
negatives. Which, proven by the sample I have here, gives excellent results and
is almost invisible if crystal (fm) screen is used. Your process might also be
less tedious than the classic process. The Hanfstaengl materials are for
dichromate sensitizing and continuous tone negs. The Autotype G25, which also
still is sold (for photogravure), has a colour I don't like for photographic
work, because of its reddish brown iron oxide pigment.
There once was somebody from Texas (R. C. Mcowan (spelling?)) who wanted to make
carbon tissue. Does anybody know what happened to him? And I understand that the
president of the french APA, M. Brochet, makes small amounts of carbon tissue.
Does anybody know wether this is for his own use only or does he sell it?
