This rather brings us back to the original point which was whether a
journalist had said that alternative photography was nasty and dirty
compared with nice clean computer printers. Might he not have been
referring to alternatives to computer printing in general rather than
'alternative processes'. I seem to remember that the original French was a
little ambiguous,( I cannot refer to it as I deleted it).

Even if the journalist did offend the sensibilies of alternative process
persons, did it really justify the brouhaha ?
