I thought you'd be interested in this E-Mail from Charles Berger. Seattle
Clay artist, Ann Perreigo, who visited at SJSU told me about a student of
hers that was firing photos onto clay. Of course, I managed to miss the
demo that Charles put on. This is all part of my ongoing research, so
subtle, sublime, and continuous as to be virtually non-existant. Maybe I
can get a grant in honor of my work habits? ;-)

Yes. I printed several pigment images on tiles, and a friend who was a
student in ceramics at SJSU (Nancy Moore) fired them for me. I did
bring some to a class at the school for a demo. Please let me know if
you have interest in pursuing this technique.
