Images on Aluminum

There's a product called TEC-200 film which is used in making one-off
printed circuit boards which might be useful here. It is a specially coated
plastic film which can be used as a substrate for a photocopy or a laser
print. It is then placed on the copper-clad board (or here, on the sheet of
aluminum) and heat-laminated on it (a household iron will work). The
plastic sheet is removed, transferring the image onto the board in a
varnish-like substance made, I guess, of the melted toner and whatever the
"special coating" might be. The image is effective as an acid resist when
etching the circuit pattern, so I imagine it would withstand the anodizing
process. The resis can be removed with organic solvents.

I have not used this product, so I can answer no questions about it, and
have no idea what its resolution capabilities etc. might be, but it can (or
