You could give it a try, but I still think you'll run into problems.
The reason is that I fix VD prints with sodium thiosulfate at a 10%
dilution from what is normally used. I believe that you'd need to
increase the dilution of selenium even greateer. This being the case, I
doubt you'll see a color change due to the use of the selenium before it
begins fading your picture. Give it a shot with a scrap though. I've
got some Tetenal Gold Toner and am wondering if that will work. I'll
have to look at the ingredients.
