Washing/clearing

Hello All,
This is one of those things that I have wondered about for a while. I
often save test strips and working prints(pt/pd) for future toning
experiments and or additional coatings. I hardly wash these prints at
all. Just a few minutes in a tray with slowly moving water. I have
noticed no signs of aging between these and prints fully cleared and
washed in an archival print washer for 15-20 minutes. This is hardly
scientific evidence. Perhaps we should conduct some aging tests to
pt/pd that have been cleared and washed in different ways( different
times, different papers etc).
