Something I didn't mention in my previous post was that one can make a 54%
(and probably higher) ferric oxalate solution from powder. To do this put
54 gm of powder ferric oxalate in a beaker add water to make 100 ml. Now
slowly heat and add small quantities of EDTA tetra sodium until it is
dissolved. This can be done on a hotplate or by zapping in a microwave.

I've not fully tested what a superstrength F.O will do for you. I made a
double strength sodium palladium solution and used the double strength F.O.
years ago and got a normal looking print. I thought that all I was doing
was wasting precious metal.
