<x-rich>Relax. These things run their course.

It doesn't have much to do with photography but it has a lot to do with a sense of community that develops on the list. The list has been through some pretty bad times recently and I don't recall you being active at that time. Had you been, I am sure you would welcome a little levity after all the mean nasty ugly shit that was going on here. I think that those who can remember where we were last June, would not have bet on the list's survival. We are now seeing the return of some people who dropped out due and I think we all welcome them back

I accept that your are busy and so are we. I have been active on this list for over 3 years and I have posted several hundred messages over the past 6 months to a year and I know I have averaged more than 1 a day for the 3 years.. I believe they have been posts of significant information and not just "me too" messages or requests for information. They have been answers (or attempts at asnwers) to serious questions such as the recent Hans and Chia problems with gum, or the testing of ink jet printers for making digital negative, or information on building of light banks, the list goes on. The others involved in this iddle chatter have also spent considerable energy on "serious" topics, and I might add, taking time out of their busy days.

If the list quits becoming fun, I'm outta here. I think I have earned a few messages of pointless chatter.

Lighten up!

Please take no offence.
