Snot, bad taste, etc.

In my humble opinion, Dick Sullivan was right on the money when he said that
this list could use a little levity. :-) Terry also makes a good point
when he said that the original "snot" discussion contained some useful info
about preparing gum. Some list members will recall the somewhat amusing
discussion we had at one time on milk prints. Nobody got in a big huff over
that. I think that the whole snot discussion was a very good sign. It is an
indication that list members feel at ease with each other again. I have never
been nasty to newbies, but surely anyone who doesn't want to read "snot" posts
knows where the delete button is. I say lets feel free to have a little fun
from time-to-time.
On another subject, would the person or persons who mentioned using
Fabriano Uno for platinum printing mind reiterating their experience
with this paper? Has anyone used this paper for anything other than
platinum? If so, what? And what was used hot pressed, cold pressed etc.
I ask this because I just got a catalog from Flax and they have Uno on
sale. There is no art supply store near me so I have to buy everything
by mail. Thanks in advance and........
Happy printing to all!
