Seriously? You mean there was no cows in India? Wilcox describes it as cows'
urine. He must be like me, who don't really consciously distinguish buffalos
from cows (this might be language related. I always think of buffalo as a
type of cows because in my first language a buffalo is called a "water cow.")
This reminds me of a confusion that I have caused by saying that there are
some gums that are made from animal products because in the same language, we
have "tree gum," "ox-skin gum," "rabbit gum," etc. I guess gum is a generic
term to describe that gummy/sticky product in that language.
I have always been a trouble maker or confusion causer, haven't I? Sorry
about that. :)
