The paper we know as Cranes Platinotype, which can be obtained from
Bostick & Sullivan, Is identified on the factory packaging as "Cranes
Crest Natural White Wove". Arentz has stock from 2 different batches
one of which is definitely better than the other. I can get the
numbers if anyone would like them. Also, in the New York Central
paper catalog, there is listed a Cranes Artificial Parchment which
based on the description may be the same paper. They have it in 4
colors. The also have something which they call Cranes Platinum
Printing which again based on the description (not the name) is
definitely not Platinotype, though it could be what B&S calls
Parchmont.
