On a project we have at the moment , where we are making a very large
photograph (2m x 3m) that will need to withstand people walking on it, we
have tried sand blasting granite through a rubber dot screened resist. We
found that a garnet based sand tended to undercut the resist so we are
trying softer sands. Does anyone have any comment either on the sand or
the resist or, perhaps, of using laser etching instead ?
