Both Pete and I would disagree here. Both David and Klaus are being too
dogmatic in their approach. There is no one way ! A hard gelatine roller
works even better than a soft foam roller. Marvellous results can be
obtained by combining the brush and the roller. In certain circumstances
the roller is better than the brush and vice versa. The tools one uses will
depend upon the image and the effect you are looking for. It is wrong to
say that either the brush or the roller are best for all prints.

Bromoils can be dramatic and in heavy blacks or light and ethereal colour
with great delicacy of detail. Both can look good and both are bromoils !
