Re Wax negatives

General comment on waxing negatives. I don't know how some of the suggested additives or
solvents might react with your photochemicals. 19th century negs waxed with bees wax have
lasted extremely well.

Hard board underneath. Few sheet of blotting paper. Negative back side up. Another sheet of
blotting paper. Hot iron. Then gently rub wax into neg and repeat hot iron until totally waxed. Thats
how they did it! And they have lasted too.
