..I recently read an interview with an retired organic chemistry professor
where he expresses it's regrets about the fact that "young" chemists do
not taste (in minute quantities ofcourse) there newly synthesised organic
compounds anymore, like they routinely did in the old days..after all
taste is also an "aspact" of a new compound (albeit subjective..)..
