A recent sales flyer from Calumet Photographic (Chicago, Illinois, USA)
lists Cachet Variable Contrast Black Magic Emulsion. They say "expose with
any standard b/w variable contrast filter set, VC head or color head. The
approx. projection speed is P150, but will vary depending on surface or
substrate. To help emulsion adhere to smooth...surfaces, coatings of
optional gelatine can be applied as a base coat or liquid hardener can be
added to developer. Liquid emulsion can be processed with any standard b/w
print developer." They list a 500 ml package of the Liquid emulsion for
$49.95, a 250-gram package of gelatine-baryta coating for $29.95 and a
500ml package of liquid hardener for $29.95. (All $ USA) I've not used it
myself. I don't know if Calumet ships to Europe.
Hope this info is useful.
