I stick by my post. My supportive evidence comes from the fact that I said
it and it is true. I will not ask how many people here can retouch a
negative by hand and have to look extremely hard to see evidence of it, If
there is any evidence. I wont ask how many people on this list can use an
airbrush with any degree of quality. I wont ask how many of the list
members can mechanically strip emulsion layers and reassemble them on a
different image... My point was simply that what we used to do as a 'no big
deal, run of the mill procedure' is rapidly being lost. Good or Bad? I will
give you that Photoshop can do it faster, and time is money.

However, Photoshop has also made people lazy as well. Fixing it in
Photoshop is analogous to saying I'll fix it in the Darkroom. I see the
need, but I also believe fixing Via software is not the best way to go.
