Hats off to Richard for his comments regarding potential pitfalls with
creating chemical compounds. I might also add these two points: 1) It takes
considerable knowledge of chemistry to manufacture chemical compounds that
are consistent from batch to batch, and 2) Chemistry should be left to the
chemists who understand everything that can go wrong. If you are going to
undertake this activity, do so with proper preparation, an understanding of
the suitable antidotes and in a place where others can't possibly come into
contact with your materials.
