If you scan in the picture, adjust the curve by having the image on one
side of the screen and the curve on the other, and watch the effect of on
the picture of pulling the curve around, and then when you have the detail
in the tonal areas of the image that you want, you reverse the image and
then invert it to negative and print it out onto Epson paper which is
specially coated for 360 dot or 720 dot for higher resolution,
photographic, images, you will have a thin paper negative that prints very
well, emulsion to emulsion for gum prints with good tones and good detail.
