There was a discussion on this about 2 1/2 years ago and I thought it was
concluded to be someone's idea of a joke.
Leonardo has been given credit for a lot of things but the idea that he
invented photography is a stretch. However, I understand that someone
said that there are full color Leonesson prints (predecessor to Fresson)
in the Vatican Museum's collection. Unfortunately, due to what is
believed to be a clerical error, they have been lost. But lets have a
little faith, I'm certain that there must be other museums that have
Leonesson's in there misplaced collection series.
