Jane Reese and her Nautilus Press and Paper Mill are pleased to announce:-

School of Temperaprint and related Technologies
Founded by Peter Fredrick & Alex Chater

These workshops are anticipated at 4 week intervals on:- Saturday and
Sunday during 1999 The times will be:- 10:00 -1:00 & 2:00- 5;00

Pete says:- " this workshop was originaly created by requests from my Ex-
Kingsway Collage students who wished to continue the development of their
skills in this area, under my personal tuition." Since this statement a
School of Temperaprint has been established..

This School of Temperaprint is now dedicated to the development of a system
of total colour print control employing,Autographic [hand drawing]
Didgital,Photographic, and Reprographic control, of both chromatic and
tonal value. This holistic syestem of total control is revalutionary in
concept and application.

The next series of monthly dedicated workshops will be as follows -:
January 30th - 31th Creative polychrome control (subtractive)
This workshop combines some the work
procedures already experienced in previous dedicated modules, Tonal
separation, Posterisation. Hand
drawn colour mask separations
are a feature and open up a very
wide range of creative effect.These
techniques can be used as a
retouching tool in normal colour
separation procedure. Or in their own
right as a form of painting-
printmaking in Temperaprint.This
workshop is a must for the colour
experimentalist

February 27th-28th Creative polychrome control (additive)

This workshop also combines some the work procedures already experienced in
the previous dedicated modules.Howeve it
can be used as a means of direct control,
allowing other creative non realistic effects to become a possibility.

March 27th-28th Temperaprint on non-standard substrates

This remarkable process will print on almost any surface, cloth ,
wood,plastic and even glass, and
when suitably sized on paper, the workshop investigates
this adhesive ability.

April 24th-25 Photoshop colour range

With this selection tool it is possible to produce colour separation
negatives that give prints that have a
similar quality to a Japanese print, where all the
chiaroscuro has been flattened out, similar to Posterisation, but
selected by colour rather than by
tone.
