Unless I am mistaken, I believe "cold cameras" use CCDs not film. The
idea is to reduce electronic noise.
Nope, chilling film seems to work as well. I remember reading a few
articles about the use of cold cameras and film, but never cared enough to
investigate. Exposures are still longer than I prefer and the use of the
special sensitized films was not an interest, either.
