Normally, reversal gives finer "grain" because the larger grains are the most
sensitive and are exposed first. What are left are the less sensitive ones.
This does not ordinarily apply to special structure crystals such as those used
in T-Grain emulsions.

Rodinal is paramidophenol in an alkaline solute. Paraphenylenediamine would
never work in this environment.
