I have two of these heaters, purchased within the last year, which don't
have the problem Judy described. The two switch lights stay on whenever
the switches are on. The manual confirms this observation: "The lights
on the switches remain on independent of the cycling of the
thermostat."
A friend leaves his heater on all the time to maintain the darkroom at a
constant temperature. On his model and on mine there's a way to set the
thermostat, once the desired temperature is reached, so that it keeps
that temperature rather than heating the room hotter and hotter.
