Nope. You're doing it again - taking advantage of a specialized forum in
order to "dazzle the crowd" with yor over the top jargon.

Your "credentials", of they are valid, don't impress us. Certainly the last
person I would consult on issues of web security would be a govt. expert!

New Jersey has a Dept. of Defense! That's a scary thought. What are they
defending themselves against? Seriously, though, a person with all of your
credentials ought to be able to back it up with some evidence. Would you
mind posting a URL of some kind? Just ONE? Oh, but of course not: the NSA
wouldn't allow that, would they? (right - like an NSA employee would be
talking in the first place!)

Look, I'm sorry if I ruffled you feathers. But your kind of talk is simply
irresponsible. Even TRULY CREDENTIALED individuals are not absolved of the
responsiblity of speaking sensibly in a public forum.

1) you said: "Viruses will eventually be written for Java" Hmmm. viruses
written FOR Java. Since Java IS a programming language, how does you
statement make any sense?

2) you said: "As the web becomes the common denominator instead of OS's"
hmmm. The WEB is a network of routers and IPs. Common denominator?
Replacing OS? hmmm. You mean eventually all we will have is an addresses
WITH NO operating system ANYWHERE?

3) you said: "viruses will more and more use the web as the their
form of transmission, infection, and propagation" uh, yeah! Wake up, guy
- this is kind of the point, isn't it? Seriously, when was the last time
you heard about ANY OTHER KIND of virus? Maybe back in 1988 while your were
working on those impressive mainframes?

4) you said: "if you think that the'sandbox' is totally secure think again"
Do you have any proof of the contrary? (for the laymen, our "expert" is
expressing unsubstantiated doubts of one of the primary advantages of Java:
that it performs in its own memory space and cannot "escape" and threaten
the security of the host system)

5) you said: "You can see the hand-coded JavaScript on my site" Big deal -
everybody does that.

6) you said: "did I mention I am a certified Microsoft Developer and OEM"
MSCD? Perhaps, but I couldn't find you on the list. Still, I know many
TRUE MSCDs and MCSEs. Some of them know what they're talking about, and
some of them don't. OEM?

7) you said: "I can point you to pics of me with the appropriate
candidates.." I think we would all like to see this! It might put your
tirade into perspective!

8) you said: "You want copies of my letters of commendation.? I'm more than
willing to post them..." YESSSS! Post them, please. Don't back off, now.

9) you said: "Only an idiot has unprotected sex, keep telling everyone how
safe the net is without any protection..." I never said it was safe. And
you DO advise everyone to take proper precautions!

10) you said: "I suppose you were a truck driver in Africa before
you became a photographer, huh?" I've done lots of things in my time -
driving trucks, included. But sorry, not in Africa.

11) you said: "remember, in the end the Rainbow Bridge falls and I win..."
Cute!!!
