I know that feeling all too well, I have some tintypes taken in the 1930s and
then there's the tintypes of mom and dad in the 50s at Greenfield Village, but
they are obvious.
BTW The Village portrait studio that took tens of thousands of tintypes since
1929 sadly has closed due to EPA constraints, cost of blank tintypes and a severe
lack of interest on the part of college kids wanting to spend the summer in a
smelly, hot, darkroom for minimum wage.
