Michael,
The classic 10 inch Kodak Wide Field Ektar is a 250mm lens that covers
7x17 completely, though with no extra margin. I've done quite a bit of
successful 7x17 work with this lens. It's coated and comes in a
serviceable Ilex shutter if you find a sample in good condition. A
somewhat flarey design, but quite servicable.---Carl
