I've used both bulbs (ICP has the AQA) and as far as I can tell (and from
several conversations with the company) the "speed" is little if any
different. I think techy boys (oops, scratch that sexist remark, read
"techy folks") just like the red color of the light (closer to the visible
spectrum at 413 nm so it glows more, looks more lethal, tho it isn't). But
note that all our processes have spikes of sensitivity, all along the
line... And the materials you use in a GIVEN process can also change
sensitivity. The BL bulbs are fine, forgiving, generous, and all-purpose.
If you want REAL speed, look for the high actinics, otherwise save your
energy for getting out the vote, or like that.
