I met an art dealer yesterday who expressed an interest in selling some of
my Ziatypes. This has led me to start wondering about the difficulties in
making multiple copies of the same print.
I've been using a standard facial tanning lamp as my UV light source, but
exposure times can vary dependant upon light-print distance, temperature,
and how/when I inspect the print to judge correct exposure, etc.
This might be a silly question, but are there any UV light units that
measure the 'amount' of UV light a print has received (even allowing for
inspections)?
Also, say you number an edition as 'x of 50', or whatever, would you
normally make all the prints at one time, or just when you receive an order?
Considering that some of my negatives can take up to one hour to print, this
could be a mammoth task.
