There are two kinds of solvents to use--one is acetone, one is lacquer thinner. Acetone is used for some color copier machine prints, i.e. Canon. Otherwise lacquer thinner is it. Also, use a brayer to rub it onto the other support. IT is messy, smelly, requires doing it outside, toxic, and a pain in the butt. And, I wasn't particularly happy with the results but what the heck...
Chris

A friend wants to transfer an inkjet print (Epson stylus photo ) onto
watercolor paper & asked me what solvent to use, suggesting Citrusolve.
I said I didn't have a clue, or even know if it would transfer, but that
I'd ask the all-knowing list.

Please don't ask me why she doesn't just put the watercolor paper in the
printer... but there was a reason, I think probably.

thanks in advance

Judy
