Just as a sidenote: recently I bought a whole carton of 1 ml (and another
of 10ml) in an eBay auction. Total cost was about 25 cents each. Good deal.
You might want to take a look at lab stuff that is frequently advertised
there; sometimes you can get a real bargain. At other times you wonder how
foolish people can be to pay more than stuff is worth!

But I do agree with many of the members who have stated their belief that
pipets are overkill. Bottles with plastic droppers do very well, as the
plastic openings are quite uniform. And, for larger quantities, graduated
cylinders are one heckuva lot easier to use in dim light!
