I agree it is getting off topic, but I used to accept credit card for
payment, so I am writing this for those worried about credit card
transaction. When you purchase something through credit card, note that there
is no *real* money involved. Basically you only agree to pay the credit-card
company (the bank), and the credit card company agrees to pay the business
selling you the supplies or services. The bank usually has checked the
business for credit ratings, reputation, etc. before they allow them to take
credit cards.

When there is dispute, at least in the US, the money by default go back to
you until the dispute is settled, so unless you are dealing with a scam where
someone deliberately set up a business, get your credit card numbers,
purchase a few things and run away, you really don't have much to worry.

As for Silverprint, I have never dealt with them, but it sounds like they are
small company simply overwhelmed by work, so try to understand that. If they
have the products and price that you like, use them, but don't expect
services like those big companies who have 20 lines just to handle orders and
complains. The same person might be taking your order, preparing them,
packing them, shipping them, etc.

I run a one-person consulting business. Sometimes people ask me "you are the
president, the big boss, right?" "Yes, of course!" I always answer, "but I
am also the secretary, the treasurer, the accountant, the receptionist, the
phone operator, the programmer, the packaging director, the mail sorter, and
the janitor."

>From what I read, Silverprint is 700 to 800% larger than my company, but that
is not very large either. :-)
