alternative version of the three-colour gum bichromate process
2. 22. - 29. June - Sam Wang, Professor of Art, Clemson University
"Pinholes"--construction and use of pinholes and zoneplates, with
sun-printing of cyanotypes and van-dyke browns
3. 1. - 7. July - Galina Manikova, The Photo/ceramic Artist from Oslo, Norway
"Alternative photography on alternative surfaces"--cyanotype and
dichromated colloids on textiles, ceramics, wood and other surfaces
These workshops will provide the perfect opportuinity for
photographers and print-makers to extend their knowledge of
alternative photography in a supportive and creative atmosphere.
MASIA CAN SERRAT is a large rustic farmhouse that has been converted into a
multi-arts centre including a darkroom.and digital facilities.
Full price, incl. accommodation, food and materials is about $500 for one
week. More precisely, $375 as a workshop fee and $130 for accommodation
