Subject: Digital b/w negs

I'm looking for a way to produce silver gelatin prints from a Photoshop
file. Most options seem to lead towards contact printing (this is a bit
of a problem as I'm working large, min. 16"X 16") Any clever (read cost
conscious) ideas on producing a neg that can be used in an enlarger? I
want to stay away from having to make large lith negs for contact printing.
